Why do I create?
When I was about four years old, I remember going on walks at the ranch in Cuernavaca, with my maternal grandmother. And during those walks, my grandmother, Mama Coco, would cut wild flowers and make me a flower crown and put it on my head. By the time I was about six years old, I was making them for myself.
Over the years, I learned to make my own flower decorations for my hair daringly folkloric dances from elementary school. And when I became a teacher, I always enjoyed making flower crowns for my students.

“All flowers must go through rain and sometimes storms…but they always find a way to bloom thanks to love and sunshine. We are like a flower.”
